This was some time ago but I finally got round to adding some information..
In 2011 i managed to make contact with Stuart G8CYW via Red Light over a 117km path which involved some light bending 😉
My equipment was a 1W Osram LED and 25cm Square Fresnel Lens modulated using Stuarts 3.6MHz>25KHz Transverter design.
Stuarts setup was similar but using an A4 size Fresnel Lens.
