Way back in June 2011 i detected DK7FC’s test signal with his Kite antenna on 8.97KHz.
If i remember correctly this was using a 100 turn 1m2 loop and M0BMU preamp.
This signal sparked my interest in VLF and it’s still with me now 🙂
