Well, after about 5 years i've finally decided to get a milling machine...
It's a Sieg X2 Mini Mill and have just finished off the stepper motor driver box for the computer control.

The plan is to use LinuxCNC (EMC2) software for the control part of it, so far i like the look of CAMBAM software for teh CAD/CAM bit but there are lots more to try yet!!

More details will follow once it's up and running...

Most of the controller parts were purchased from cnc4you.co.uk
The rest was parts from other partially finished projects like the psu and case!
