At home i have a non Line Of Sight path to the beacon.
I setup a 4xBPW34 receiver head behind a 25cm Fresnel lens in the attic space looking through a window.
It’s aimed 2 degrees above the horizon for best results. The window attenuates the signal quite a lot.. looks like around 6dB.
The long shroud is to block the sun, we don’t want any fires!!!

The crosshairs are just above the top of the Moors, the beacon is behind the trees below.
