Pulsed Radar Tests

I have been doing some radar tests on 3cm for a bit of fun, always wanted to do it but never got around to it!

Initial tests were with Pulsed operation which gave some reasonable results, main problem being de-sense from Tx noise getting into the Rx via the circulator i think.
Tests were with 1uS pulses of ~4W RF into 60cm dish, generates a fairly wide bandwidth signal as you can imagine!
A waveguide filter was fitted between the Transverter and Amplifier to clean this up a bit.

Rx was a PLL LNB after a PIN attenuator connected to a circulator.
